Thanks for the feedback, Scott! There are a growing number of people out there interested in making the world a better place with more structured front-end markup. I believe that Microformats, RDFa and Microdata have huge potential to drive a new era of ecommerce.

Jay,
I noticed your name on the microformat spec for products. I currently manage a number of websites. I have always had a strong focus on markup and how the underpinnings of a site can improve SEO. I do some things with microformats now, but lately I have been putting more of an emphasis on them because it makes things easier for standardized module development. The SEO impact for this is extremely important. Now that Google has a validator for this, it is easy to make sure your code is working. I love that you are getting this information out there.

Jay, where can we find an equivalent standard for describing a computer and it's configuration (OS, amount of memory, installed software, etc.) Have you seen in standard ways to share data about machines using any open .NET apps?

Great news!
This will make it a treat to create mashups that use your data, such as price comparizon websites.
Do you plan to generate RDFa within the web pages, or to create a separate file or triplestore serving semantic information? Sematic web-enabled browsers users will become interested in the first one, and mashup developers will be interested in the second, so you might want to generate both.
I am also planning to publish GoodRelations data.
Please let us know when it rolls out :-)
Cheers,
Nicolas Raoul
